往事随风-第一次挣美金
人生有许多第一次，有的不久就遗忘了，有的终生相随，我第一次挣美元的事几十年过去了还历历在目。
1988年我在中国预防医学科学院上研究生，有天导师把我叫到他的办公室，说有个美国哥伦比亚大学的人类学教授前几天已来到所里访问，明后天想去北京外面转转，你来陪陪他们，顺便也练练英语。我听后很高兴，当时就找了本英文版的北京景点介绍，想恶补一下，希望第二天能派上用场。第二天一早我就去附近一家刚建，合资的三星级宾馆去接那人类学教授，教授60来岁，他们就两人，教授及叫Jeff负责摄影的年轻人。见面后教授交待了那两天的安排及目的。原来教授并不想去游山玩水看风景，而是想拍一个北京风土人情，尤其饮食文化的纪录片，供教学用。
随后，我带他们到天坛西门附近一家有名的涮羊肉店(名字不记得了，可能是东来顺)，向饭店老板说明了来意，即拍个纪录片，将他们饮食和生意情况介绍给美国人，老板听了非常高兴，叫了两个大厨师，说要给我们免费做几个菜中午食用。于是Jeff 在厨房架起了摄像机，将菜的制作过程从选材，烹调直到送上桌全部仔细拍了下来，教授拍的时候还问了些问题，其实好些菜我不知道英文名字，当时完全在糊弄，好在菜在桌子上，他们有感官印象。吃过中饭，我们又忙碌了一阵子，很快到了下午四，五点，我们选了桌在涮羊肉的北京人，他们一边吃，我们一边采访，那桌北京人不仅有问必答，而且侃个没完。又过了一个小时，很诧异这时进来了两位警察，直奔教授过来，说有人举报你们在这里乱录像，请你们立刻停止。我将教授的来意跟警察解释，但警察说，你们没有申请报备不能乱录，并要我们立即离开，我们也只能听从警察的劝告离开了。回宾馆的路上，教授虽然觉得有点失望，但庆幸的是那天任务基本完成。这件事看出北京的朝阳群众有悠久历史，遗憾的是，几十年过去了，朝阳群众不但没有减少，还有变本加厉的趋势。
第二天，教授还是继续原来的行程，一早去了陶然亭公园，录了一段市民在公园打太极和锻炼身体的录像，下午在我们研究所的南纬路附近小街小巷转悠并录影。在录一家四合院时，有居委会的老大妈过来盘问，一看不妙，我们马上打出租车离开了。
那两天一共陪了教授十几个小时，教授似乎很满意，非要付给我50美金，那是我第一次劳动所得到的美金，虽然很辛苦，却让我高兴了好一阵子，那时的五十美元相当于四百人民币，而四百人民币相当于那时刚参加工作的本科生7个月薪水！

I wear size 8 shoe -orderd size 8 -normal width .I m 5'7" -130 lbs . They fit perfect . Little snug at first as are all new shoes . Hope this helps with concerning ordering a size larger issue .

This is my third pair of these shoes. I have wide feet so I have a hard time finding good shoes that fit well. These work great and each pair lasts me at least twice as long as previous shoes I have tried. They are very comfortable.

It came with a massive error , the shoe has a cut through two of the lace holes , the tick has glue stuck on it , the sole of the shoe has scuffs on it and they were ruined in the shipping process as it’s mostly bent . Not very happy looking for a refund . Looks like a real shoe but it’s ruined and looks horrible due to all the errors and shipping

I love them. Only thing the velvet doesn't look like the picture. The shoes have that factory smell to them. But besides that, they'll do. Shipping was long, I paid for fast shipping. Which was supposed to be 3 to 6 days and I didnt receive them until 2 weeks later. Also the responses to my messages where very late.

Great purse, looks almost identical. The leather feels very smooth and the inside is perfect. The only thing is I’d say the CC in front is maybe slightly lopsided. But it’s really not that noticeable and for the price it’s a great dupe, I’m still satisfied.
